Central Relationship Manager Job in Mumbai at Larsen & Toubro Limited (L&T)

Larsen & Toubro is hiring for the role of Central Relationship Manager!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Build and maintain relationships with existing Customers and pitching for Repeat orders by cross-selling and upselling
• Work directly with suppliers to obtain bids on new or ongoing projects
• Update internal databases with order details (dates, vendors, quantities, discounts)
• Evaluate offers from vendors and negotiate better prices including resolving their issues and queries
• Be able to work centrally with team members and other cross-functional teams to understand their requirements and get competitive quotes from Pan-India vendors
• Follow up with suppliers, as needed, to confirm or change orders
• Be able to coordinate centrally with other departments within a company for the purchase of specialized materials or equipment

Requirements:

• Work experience as a Purchasing Assistant/Officer or Sourcing Officer/Manager
• Good understanding of supply chain procedures and complete procure-to-pay cycle
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
• Knowledge of market research
• Solid organizational skills
• Fluent in Hindi and English
• Must be Mumbai-based
• Engineer Graduate must
• An MBA would be good to have
• Good at negotiations, followup, liaisoning etc
• Good at communication, building relationships, extracting information and convincing to place new orders – A Sales Profile/Relationship management
