Amazon is hiring for the role of Category Manager!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• End-to-end responsibility for the customer experience and growth of the category they have been assigned to.
• Bringing in the relevant assortment, designing targeted promotions, and managing partners including sellers and brands.
• Anticipating customer needs and incorporating them into the functional roadmap will drive a major change or enhancement for customer experience influencing category needs based on their knowledge of competitive trends in the marketplace and other macro environment data.
• Responsible for signing the right mix of selection in partnership with sellers, adding unique local selection, and driving traffic conversion and margin improvements while delivering top-notch customer experience.

Requirements:

• 3 years of account management, project or program management, or buying experience
• 2 years of market research analyst, product manager, or equivalent experience
• 2 years of doing one of several roles: quantitative/financial analysis, retail buying, retail planning & allocation, product/project management, pricing, marketing, or e-commerce experience
• Master's degree
• Experience driving internal cross-team collaboration
