Category Manager Job in Bangalore at Shell Global

Shell Global is hiring for the role of Category Manager!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Act as the country focal for delivering the Fresh Food & Beverage category P&L.
• Support the Sales team in achieving top-line and bottom-line targets for the category.
• Manage all aspects of the category including:
  Product portfolio
• Pricing for Company-Owned (CO) and Dealer-Owned (DO) channels
• Marketing plans
• Safety and compliance
• People skills and Standard Operating Procedures
• Own and manage supplier contracts in the category.

Requirements:

• Experience in managing food and coffee categories and working with key CR suppliers.
• Strong commercial acumen, analytical ability, and communication skills.
• Experience in marketing planning and a proven track record in operational delivery.
• Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and deliver through others.
• Professional experience in retail, food & beverage, and category management is an advantage.
• Experience in contract management to optimize Shell’s value and reduce missed opportunities.
