Zoom is hiring for the role of Carrier Engineer!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Design, implement, and maintain Zoom's carrier infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Manage and optimize network configurations, including routing, switching, and peering.
- Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues, including connectivity problems and service disruptions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and services into the carrier network.
- Develop and maintain documentation for network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for the carrier network.
- Conduct regular network audits and security assessments to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies in the carrier space.
