McKinsey & Company is hiring for the role of Capabilities & Insights Analyst!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Support team members, consultants, and clients on requests and engagements in the knowledge area.
• Apply knowledge to address complex issues faced by leading companies in life sciences, particularly in pharmaceutical operational aspects such as manufacturing networks, external supply management, supply chain optimization, and the impact of digital and automation technologies in these areas.
• Possess and develop a broad understanding of industry/economic trends and issues to create a distinctive area of expertise in life sciences.
• Support Life Sciences Operations practice leaders on priority initiatives and leadership agenda, such as developing practice qualification materials and preparing for leadership meetings.
• Help project teams understand industry trends and players, and solve research problems.
• Leverage knowledge base to codify existing knowledge and best practices to develop new fact packs, create summary perspectives, and other research products.
• Develop and lead analytical products such as benchmarking and cleansheeting product.
• Produce high-quality client-ready end products that are complete, synthesized, and logically structured.
• Over time, coach new team members and peers in areas of personal expertise, contributing to the professional growth of junior colleagues.
• Assist the success of the knowledge management team by building strong communities across practices/offices and developing strong links with knowledge professionals in other units and consultants across the firm.

Requirements:

• Degree in Pharmacy/Biotech
• MBA/M.S.(Pharmacy)/M.Tech (Biotech) is preferred
• 2+ years of work experience in Indian pharmaceutical operations consulting/industry such as supply chain, manufacturing, quality, procurement is essential
• Understanding of economic, financial, and general business concepts and terminology is essential
• Strong IT skills, including proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and basic business tools
• Analytics skills and knowledge of SAS, SPSS, Alteryx and Tableau is a plus
• Ability to structure ambiguous problems and take action to solve them
• Ability to adapt in a dynamic environment with evolving requirements
• Comfort in working with diverse teams to come up with the best solution and move people and organizations to act
• Ability to establish trust-based relationships with colleagues and clients
