Capabilities and Insights Analytics Analyst Job in Chennai at McKinsey and Company

Mckinsey & Company is hiring for the role of Capabilities and Insights Analytics Analyst!

Responsibilities of the Candidate: 

• Solve the hardest business problems with our clients in multiple industries worldwide while leading research and development of state-of-the-art analytical and automation models 
• Play a leading role in bringing the latest advances in business intelligence, data engineering, AI to our clients, collaborating with industry executives and QuantumBlack experts to find and execute opportunities to improve business performance using data and advanced analytical models 
• Work with clients closely to understand the business needs and set up end to end analytical models to help them harness the power of data using business intelligence and analytical tools  
• Work with QuantumBlack leadership and client executives to understand business problems and map them to state-of-the-art analytics and AI solutions 
• Work closely with other data scientists, data engineers, machine learning engineers and designers to build end-to-end analytics solutions for our clients that drive real impact in the real world 
• Perhaps most importantly, you will work in one of the most talented and diverse analytics teams in the world

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or related fields with excellent academic record
• 2–5 years of deep technical experience in Microsoft Fabric, Tableau or Power BI, Python, and SQL
• Exposure to no-code tools for data processing is an advantage
• Advanced programming expertise and ability to write clean, maintainable, scalable, and robust code in Python and SQL in a professional setting
• Proven application of building business algorithms, scenario planners, or simulation engines to solve business problems
• Knowledge of engineering standards, QA, and risk management
• Good presentation and communication skills with the ability to explain complex analytical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Client-facing experience, including working in close-knit teams on data engineering and machine learning topics
• Willingness to travel to domestic and international destinations.
