Maruti Suzuki is hiring for the role of Calibration & Dimensional Inspection Engineer!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Calibrate Gauges/Instruments used in measurement such as Vernier, Micrometer, Plain plug gauges, Snap Gauges, Surface Plate, etc.
- Assist in dimensional Inspection of complex shape parts as per drawing requirements using different equipment such as CMM, Roughness Tester, Form Tester, etc.
- Assist in fixture calibration & calibration report preparation.
- Interact with different dept. during line & market problems.
- Interact with the M/C shop person for any calibration-related issues.
- Assist in lab work management, inventory management of spares and consumables.
Requirements:
- Understanding of Drawing
- Understanding of latest Calibration machines such as ULM, Dial Tester and CMM etc
- Understanding of Calibration Standards (IS, JIS, DIN)
- Well-versed with Calibration methodology, equipment handlings
- Knowledge of ISO 17025:2017 requirements
- Knowledge of Uncertainty calculation
- Good analytical ability
- Team work
- Educational Qualification: Diploma in Mech. Engineering
