CAD Designer-Junior Engineer Job in Gurgaon at Maruti Suzuki

Maruti Suzuki is hiring for the role of CAD Designer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Analyze and comprehend automobile manufacturing plant layouts, encompassing civil engineering aspects, utility systems (electrical and mechanical), and equipment positioning within the plot area.
• Create detailed and accurate 3D models by interpreting 2D layouts of civil structures, electrical and mechanical utilities, and equipment/processes within the manufacturing shop area.
• Develop multiple 2D layout options for optimizing factory and shop floor designs, ensuring efficient space utilization and workflow.
• Prepare virtual walkthroughs of factory layouts, providing immersive and interactive visualizations of the manufacturing environment.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in 3D modeling and CAD data preparation, specifically within the context of manufacturing or industrial plant layouts using software like AutoCAD, FactoryCAD, Autodesk INventor, Sketch-up, Line Designer, etc.
• Strong ability to translate 2D layouts into comprehensive 3D models, with attention to detail in civil, electrical, and mechanical components.
• Familiarity with BIMS is highly desirable and will be considered as an added advantage for this role.
