Adroit is hiring for the role of CAD/CAM Technician!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Collaboration with Design Teams:
  • Work closely with designers to understand the specifications and requirements for each furniture design.
  • Integrate BOM considerations into the design process to ensure that the CAD models are aligned with the required materials and components.
• BOM Generation:
  • Generate comprehensive Bills of Materials (BOM) based on the CAD designs.
  • Include detailed information such as material specifications, dimensions, quantities, and any additional components necessary for assembly.
  • Integration with CAD Software:
  • Integrate BOM data seamlessly with the CAD software to establish a unified design and manufacturing system.
  • Link each component in the CAD model to its corresponding entry in the BOM for easy reference.
• CNC Programming:
  • Translate CAD designs into machinereadable instructions for CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines.
  • Generate toolpaths and programs for CNC routers, mills, and other manufacturing equipment.
• Supply Chain Coordination:
  • Collaborate with supply chain and procurement teams to ensure that materials and components listed in the BOM are available and sourced in a timely manner. Verify that the BOM aligns with inventory and ordering systems.
• Documentation for Production Teams:
  • Utilize BOM data to create comprehensive assembly manuals and documentation for production teams.
  • Provide clear instructions and guidance for efficient assembly based on the BOM.

 Requirements:

•  Strong understanding of technical drawings and blueprints.
•  Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Mastercam).
•  Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
•  Strong communication and organizational skills.
