Goldman Sachs is hiring for the role of CA Analyst!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Ensure that the firm meets all financial control and reporting obligations of a global, regulated, and public financial institution.
• Measure the profitability and risks associated with every aspect of the firm's business.
• Ensure that the firm's activities are conducted in compliance with regulations governing transactions in financial markets.
• Safeguard the firm's assets to maintain the integrity of Goldman Sachs' finances and expenditures.
• Analyze firm finances, objectives, and strategies to ensure profitability and efficient operation.
• Ensure that all business practices comply with financial and regulatory requirements worldwide.
• Support alternative investments within the Goldman Sachs Asset Management division, including Direct Hedge Funds, Hedge Funds Strategies, and Private Equity Group teams within Controllers, with oversight over complex private funds.

Requirements:

• Qualified CA/CFA/CMA
• Basic industry knowledge and strong accounting knowledge. - Knowledge of US GAAP & IFRS is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills 
• Strong analytical skills 
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, tools and utilities for business use
• Candidate must be proactive, enthusiastic and team-oriented 
• Ability to prioritize and make decisions in a fast-paced environment 
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Experience with Goldman Sachs businesses, products, and sophisticated technology systems deeply due to frequent contact with various parts of the firm
