C++ Linux Engineer Job in Bangalore at Harman International

Harman International is hiring for the role of C++ Linux Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate: 

• Assist in Software Development and Unit Testing
• Optimize computational applications (such as computer vision, image processing, graphics, and machine learning) for architectures such as x86, ARM, NEON, or CUDA
• Conceptualize, architect, and prototype software solutions on high-performance embedded systems
• Develop SW frameworks and modules for the Head Unit
• Define and Analyse SW requirements and SW interfaces
• Integrate, Build, and Release Management of application
• Document High-level and low-level design, Source code and Unit Tests
• Develop, flash, and test the application in Embedded Hardware
• Communicate with partners, suppliers, and within the team

Requirements: 

• Education: Masters/Bachelors in Computer Science or Electronics and Communication Engineering or related field
• Mandatory Skills: 
  • C++ programming experience
  • Experience with development on embedded Linux platforms
  • Experience in using IPC mechanisms like DBus, Thrift, etc.,
  • Experience in working with Linux-embedded platforms (Development, Build, and Deployment)
  • Experience in building tools cmake, make/gmake, and cross-compilation
  • Excellent Communication and Teamwork skills
• Desired Skills:
  • Experience in working with Automotive Infotainment Head Unit Hardware
  • Good knowledge of UML Modelling tools like EA, and Rhapsody.
  • Good knowledge of Test-driven development (Unit and Module testing)
  • Good knowledge of SW-Version-Tools like SVN, and GIT Knowledge of systems software design, operating systems, and architectures
  • Proven ability working in an Agile Scrum environment using Atlassian tools
