Invesco India Pvt. Ltd. is hiring for the role of Business Trainee!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Maintain data and data systems.
• Ensure all data requirements/validations are executed in a timely and accurate manner.
• Identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Identify workflow/system improvements and work with the supervisor to enact change.
• Answer questions from other analysts and users regarding the details of the data.
• Develop a working knowledge of Invesco product lines globally.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 2-5 years’ experience in the Finance/Investment banking/management industry is preferred.
• Provide technical expertise related to performance calculations.  Review any calculations prepared outside of base systems.
• Prepare, interpret, and investigate anomalies in attribution/contribution reports used in the analyses of performance. 
• Strong understanding of the Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS).  Maintain composites and lead in the day-to-day GIPS efforts and compiling data and documentation for firm-wide verification efforts.
• Ensure performance data has been represented in a complete and accurate manner within Senior Management reports, third-party databases, sales materials and regulatory filings.
• Exhibit comprehensive knowledge in performance and maintain current knowledge with regulatory and industry guidelines. 
• Experience with investment performance/analytics tools such as Eagle, FactSet, BARRA, Morningstar Direct, Lipper LIM/LANA, Risk Metrics and/or BlackRock Aladdin.
• Working experience on R, SQL, Python or Excel VBA to efficiently source and present statistics using reporting tools such as Power BI/Tableau etc.
