Business Systems Analyst Job in Bangalore at Moody's

Moody's is hiring for the role of Business Systems Analyst!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Provide efficient and effective functional support for the Finance organization concerning financial close, modelling, and planning.
• Possess analytical and technical skills to troubleshoot and resolve metadata and data modelling issues.
• Perform comprehensive master data change analysis, and testing, and manage workflow approval.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into Functional Design Documents to be shared with business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Configure functional changes such as dashboards, cube views, and workflows in the OneStream platform based on agreed business requirements.
• Utilize the JIRA platform to create, update, and track demand and operational items as a repository for IT audit controls and management reporting.
• Create Standard Operating Procedures to transfer appropriate operational activities to junior team members.
• Assist in documenting training materials, presentations, meeting notes, and application diagrams for business stakeholders and junior team members.
• Configure application access provisioning and help manage audit certifications.
• Possess business acumen and customer service mindset to deliver high-quality products.
• Raise concerns to the appropriate management level and keep management informed of activities.
• Interact with the project team, global FP&A, Accounting, IT counterpart, and other Finance teams.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Mathematics, Finance, Accounting, or other related fields
• 2 to 3 years of experience in data modelling, business analysis, or system operations
• Experience with EPM Cloud tools in budgeting, forecasting or related finance field
• Experience with various IT project lifecycles a plus
• Understanding of the EPM architectural platform, security model, calculation functions, and business rules
• Experience with VB.Net, SQL, Power BI, and AWS architecture and services a plus
• Excel spreadsheet skills along with experience in JIRA and ServiceNow platform
• Possess a positive attitude with the ability to work both independently and as a member of a team
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines with a sense of urgency
• Self-learn new tools and systems quickly and self-train via all available training and internet resources
