Business Risk Specialist Job in Pune at UBS

UBS is hiring for the role of Business Risk Specialist!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Coordinating with selected operational risk processes and activities in a controlled environment
• Providing regular and ad-hoc analysis/reports and ensuring the quality of data provided
• Understanding the team's strategy, becoming a backup for at least 1 another process
• Demonstrating in-depth understanding of the process through proactive and clear communication, providing possible solutions to challenges
• Co-ordinating with various stakeholders and maintaining good communication on important aspects in a timely manner
• Showing innovation and 'out of the box' thinking by challenging BAU, working with cross-functional teams, and adhering to a high level of output standards/quality
• Supporting working groups and projects set up internally or by the extended team
• Doing Regular documentation of the knowledge gained through working on the processes

Requirements:

• A university degree (preferably in economics or business administration) or equivalent experience in one of the following areas: Operational Risk Management, Risk and Control Assessments, Compliance, Audit, Risk Reporting
• Fluent in English
• MS Excel Skills (Pivot tables, Charts, Lookups, Tables, data visualization), additional expertise would be considered as an advantage
• MS PowerPoint to a competent level
• Good communicator with mature interpersonal skills
• Prepared to take ownership of tasks assigned
• Independently minded, strong technically with problem-solving/analytical skills
• Team-orientated, while able to complete tasks independently and autonomously
• Confident in dealing with colleagues at all levels across multiple regions
