Job Description:
• Identify potential customers and new business opportunities within the education sector.
• Research and prospect new leads through various channels such as lead calling, email campaigns, social media outreach, and networking events.
• Develop a deep understanding of the company's products and services, particularly its educational technology solutions.
• Tailor sales pitches and presentations to showcase how the company's offerings address the specific needs and challenges of educational institutions, teachers, and students.
• Relationship Building and Consultative Selling.
• Manage and nurture leads through the sales pipeline, from initial contact to closure.
• Keep accurate records of sales activities, including lead interactions, follow-ups, and progress updates.
• Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with prospective clients, ensuring company policies and objectives.
• Foster long-term relationships with customers by providing ongoing support, addressing concerns, and offering additional value-added services.
• Proactively engage with existing clients to identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to drive revenue growth.
Eligibility Criteria
• Candidate who has 0 - 3 years of experience.
• All graduates and post-graduates are eligible (no backlogs).
• Minimum GPA of 6.0
• Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
• Experience in inside sales, business development, or a related field, preferably in the Edu-tech industry or a similar sector will be given priority.
Roles & Responsibilities
• Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business.
• Cold calling as appropriate within your market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
• Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining and leveraging your network.
• Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organization.
• Research and build relationships with new clients.
• Identify opportunities for campaigns, services and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales.
• Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators.
• Forecast sales targets and ensure they are met by the team.
• Work with marketing staff to ensure that prerequisites are fulfilled within a timely manner.
• Present business development training and mentoring to business developers and other internal staff.

What we're looking for:

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• A strong desire to learn and grow in the edtech industry.
• Prior sales experience is a plus (but not necessary).
