Business Operations, Associate (Market Research) Job in Bangalore at Qualcomm

Qualcomm is hiring for the role of Business Operations, Associate (Market Research)!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Responsible for receiving and processing large amounts of third-party raw data to be consumed by various business teams.
• Capture product information from multiple sources by entering and updating the data in our database and systems.  During this process, the Analyst performs detailed data validation to identify gaps, and discrepancies, and adhere to our high data standards.
• Conduct product research to verify product specifications obtained to improve the accuracy and completeness of data. 
• Utilize Excel, Python, TM1, and Tableau to clean data, enter data, and extract information to support the data team. 
• Work closely with Data Team colleagues the individual will analyze and transform "data" to "information" that supports business needs and objectives.  This is done by conducting mappings of data to licensees and grouping product data from multiple sources. 
• Respond to data requests, questions, and needs from various cross-functional teams.
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of activities with complete ownership and accountability.
• Work closely with HQ and global region teams with regular interaction to review, drive transition calls, and process documentation for all activities.
• Take evening calls for reviews and transition of activities.
• Perform additional ad hoc business operations activities from time to time.

Requirements:

• 2 to 4 years of relevant industry experience in business analysis & operations activities.
• Excellent advanced Excel Skills are mandatory.
• Ability to focus on details, multitask, and perform activities timely with quality output.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and upskill with tools – Tableau, Power BI, etc.
• Flexible for evening calls for HQ reviews and transition calls on a regular basis.
• Strong analytical, problem solving and conceptual skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor's in science/B Tech/commerce/economics and/or, Diploma in Business Analytics, Business Administration from reputed B-school.
