S&P Global is hiring for the role of Business Management Analyst/ Data Analyst!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Utilize advanced Excel functions, Macros, and Google Sheets to analyze and interpret complex datasets related to headcount reports and other relevant metrics
• Develop and maintain automated dashboards using Excel and Google Sheets, ensuring efficient data visualization and accessibility for management
• Navigate through large datasets, identifying discrepancies, errors, or anomalies in the data
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and data needs
• Stay abreast of industry best practices and advancements in data analysis tools and techniques
• Document data analysis methodologies, processes, and automation scripts for future reference

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science).
• 2 to 4 years of proven work experience as a Data Analyst focusing on Excel and Google Sheets expertise
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Proficiency in creating visually appealing and insightful dashboards
• Exceptional data analytical skills: The candidate should possess a strong background in data analysis, including proficiency in statistical analysis, data visualization, and the ability to draw actionable insights from complex datasets
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data presentation: The candidate should have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including functions, formulas, and data representation. Additionally, they should be skilled in creating visually appealing and informative presentations to effectively communicate data-driven insights.  Experience in Google Sheets will also be beneficial.
• Data-driven and detail-oriented: The ideal candidate should have a strong orientation towards data and possess excellent attention to detail. They should be able to collect, analyze, and interpret large volumes of data accurately, making data-driven decisions and recommendations.
• Excellent communication and soft skills: Effective communication is crucial for this role. The candidate should have exceptional written and verbal communication skills to convey complex data findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Additionally, they should have strong interpersonal skills, and problem-solving abilities, and be a collaborative team player
