Business Intelligence Data Engineer Internship in Bangalore at Hewlett Packard

Hewlett Packard is hiring for the role of Business Intelligence Data Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Work with the EBP Anaplan, SAP-IB, and R&A implementation team to understand the planning models, reports, dashboards, reporting needs, and other information that will be made to our business leaders.
• Map these planning models/reports/dashboards back to the source data needed to be able to generate them.
• Work with existing subject matter experts in the various functions (Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, Commercial) to identify the best source of the needed data including the original system of record, enterprise data lake, or other sources such as our operational data warehouse.
• Ensure Business specifications are correctly communicated and implemented by the IT delivery organization.
• Support Product Owners and business stakeholders in creating accurate user stories.
• Provide innovative solutions to set up an overall architecture that will improve business experience.
• Support the operation team to analyze the data quality gaps.
• Assist the communication team regarding the deadlines & risks associated with the program.
• Perform business knowledge transfer to various teams (ML, IT).
• Work on E2E processes to build data flow efficiently and securely.
• Review and enhance various documentation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Typically 2-4 years’ experience.
• Using scientific design and data collection methodologies, tools and analysis packages to collect, validate, and analyze research data.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Application and implementation of experimental design, scientific procedures and processes, and data analysis.
• Using data engineering tools, languages, and frameworks to cleanse, mine, and explore data.
• Understanding of NoSQL & relational-based systems along with complex, distributed, and massively parallel systems.
• Ability to understand complex data structures.
