Business Development Manager (BDM) Job in Gurugram at Chetak Group of Companies

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, target, and develop new international business opportunities across freight forwarding, warehousing, and logistics services.
• Engage with global clients, distributors, and agents to understand logistics needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Lead the sales cycle end-to-end: prospecting, client presentations, proposal creation, contract negotiation, and closure.
• Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis to senior management.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing international clients to foster repeat business and referrals.
• Stay up to date on international trade regulations, Incoterms, customs documentation, and compliance.
• Coordinate with operations and logistics teams to ensure timely service delivery.
• Represent the company at trade shows, networking events, and industry forums globally or virtually.
• Achieve and exceed assigned revenue targets and KPIs.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, International Trade, or related field (MBA preferred).
• 5–8 years of B2B sales experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain solutions.
• Proven track record of handling international clients or cross-border deals.
• Strong understanding of global logistics operations, including sea, air, and multimodal transportation.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
• Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho) and sales reporting dashboards.
• Knowledge of export-import documentation, customs clearance, and freight tariffs.
• Ability to travel internationally, if required.
