Qualcomm is hiring for the role of Business Development Manager!

Responsibilities of Candidate:

• Developing and executing comprehensive business development strategy for IoT solutions, including market entry, pricing strategy, and go-to-market plans.
• Translating customer feedback and market dynamics into potential changes to ensure a differentiated product roadmap.
• Interacting with partners and lead customers to ensure product success.
• Working with technology product management and engineering leads to driving requirements into the technology roadmaps.
• Working with customers and internal engineering teams on customer RFIs, RFQs, and system-level use case modeling & analysis.
• Achieving Revenue targets by effectively selling IoT solutions and services, and managing sales pipeline and forecasts.
• Working with distribution partners, and design partners to expand the business.
• Staying updated on IoT technologies, industry standards, and best practices to provide expert advice and insights to clients.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of Business Development, Product Management, or related work experience
• MBA.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business development, with a focus on IoT solutions.
• Proven track record of successfully identifying and closing deals.
• Deep understanding of operational aspects like reliability and product test.
• Good understanding of Indian IoT market landscapes and regulatory environment.
• Effective communication skills with cross-functional teams, both technical and non-technical, within a fast-paced, collaborative, innovative environment, including experience in discussing complex ideas with partners, customers, and executives.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Good basic knowledge of HW, SW Systems, and Chipset architecture.
• Good understanding of the complete SoC product life cycle.
• Ability to do Market Analysis, and in-depth market research to identify new trends, customer needs, and competition.
