Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning & Market Research:
- Develop and execute a strategic business development plan for North America.
- Provide market insights, competitor analysis, and recommendations for business growth to maintain knowledge.
- Create and maintain a database for different verticals through data mining activities which will be executed by you and the data research team.
Lead Generation & Relationship Building:
- Identify, engage, and establish relationships with key decision-makers in target industries.
- Generate leads and close deals through networking, cold outreach, partnerships, referrals, and other areas. Ensure thorough documentation of sales activities using a CRM tool.
Sales Activities & Client Engagement:
- Book in-person meetings for management/senior team members with prospective clients.
- Work with seniors to produce contracts and develop quotes with potential clients, also supportive documents like presentations and business cases tailored to client needs.
- Lead sales negotiations, contract discussions, and pricing strategies to bring new logos to the company and expand business nationwide.
- Manage end-to-end sales cycles, including lead generation, prospecting, negotiation, and closing deals.
Pipeline Management & Client Onboarding:
- Maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities and update CRM systems regularly.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and project execution.
Account Management & Ongoing Relationship Maintenance:
- Perform account management for landed accounts and take accountabilities for all activities.
Event & Networking Support:
- Assists members who plan road trips to attend industry events, trade shows, conferences, and client meetings to expand business networks.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Qualifications & Experience:
Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Work Experience:
- Minimum 5+ years of North America experience in technology sales, business development, or account management in the IT, IoT, Software, Data Analytics, or similar domain.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in North America.
- Prior experience in handling enterprise sales, technology consulting, or solution-based sales is a plus.
- Experience in consultative selling and handling complex solution sales cycles.
Technical Expertise & Industry Knowledge:
- In-depth knowledge of technologies like IoT, AI/ML, Cloud, Industrial Automation. Product Engineering Services (Embedded), Automated Test Equipment (LabVIEW) is preferred.
- Specialized knowledge in IoT, IT, OT, AI, Web/Mobility technologies. Experience with Reality applications, chatbots, cloud, RPA, DevOps, and ServiceNow is beneficial.
Sales & Business Development Skills:
- Strong lead generation, key decision-makers prospecting, existing relationships in industries relevant to our services, and networking skills, with experience in using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, email outreach, and cold calling.
- Experience in prospecting, calling, and conducting virtual/in-person meetings and presentations.
- Understanding of CRM tools like Zoho/Salesforce, marketing automation (Pardot/Marketo), and data mining tools (Hoover/ZoomInfo) is a plus.

Work Flexibility & Travel Requirements:
- Willingness to travel across North America as needed.
