Business Development Executive (Internship) Job in Bangalore at Pratilipi

We are looking for highly driven and empathetic Business Development Executive Interns to join our Business Development team. This role is crucial in engaging aspiring authors, understanding their publishing goals, and guiding them through personalized publishing solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Connect with authors via calls, WhatsApp, video calls, and emails
• Understand an author’s publishing journey, motivations, and expectations
• Present suitable publishing packages and assist in onboarding
• Maintain CRM data, follow-ups, and conversations (using LeadSquared)
• Collaborate with editorial and operations teams post-onboarding
• Meet monthly onboarding revenue targets (eligible for performance incentives)
• Build and nurture long-term customer relationships
• Work schedule: Monday to Friday (Weekends off)

Requirements

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
• Previous experience in B2C/B2B sales is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in any field
• Self-motivated, target-oriented, and proactive problem solver
• Experience in publishing or related industries is an added advantage
• Quick learner with adaptability to a dynamic, startup environment
