Gartner is hiring for the role of Associate, Business Analytics!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Work alongside the Analytics team to understand business objectives and create best-in-class solutions to increase efficiency and effectiveness throughout the business. The solutions built will have a direct impact on increasing exhibitor and attendee revenue.
• Leverage Python for web scraping for a variety of data sources.
• Leverage a variety of data sources to create a strategic scoring system to prioritize and qualify data.
• Build complex data models to effectively scale PowerBI reporting across the business.
• Collaborate with several teams like Operations and Sales to ensure the quality of data.
• Work on analysis to draw insights that drive the business
• Manage relationships with stakeholders and work cross-functionally with internal teams

Requirements:

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or related field. MBA preferred
• 2+ years of relevant experience
• Hands-on experience in Python specifically in the realm of web scraping
• Experience with PowerBI reporting or related platforms
• Experience working with T-SQL or other SQL languages to query and build views/data models
• Data-driven, problem-solving and analytical mindset
• Strong analytical skills and ability to understand and manipulate large data models
• Strong ability to condense complex concepts and analysis into clear and concise reporting that drives action
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail
