Business Analyst - Reporting Job in Bangalore at London Stock Exchange Group

London Stock Exchange Group is hiring for the role of Business Analyst - Reporting!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Provide analysis of large volumes of data to provide useful data and insights for internal and external clients.
• Standardise raw data in accordance with defined processes to ensure data quality is delivered.
• Execute key aspects of the data control framework, ensuring that data quality is achieved.
• Develop and run basic to intermediate-level queries to pull a wide variety of information from the database for internal or external reports.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure reporting and analysis needs are met.
• Assist with the report/data checks and validation, to ensure the highest level of accuracy and help to identify issues with the data and escalate issues properly.
• Use data visualization techniques, such as charts and graphs, to illustrate the results and make them easier to understand.
• Check data quality and removes duplications, corrects errors and ensures that any process changes to improve data collection are in place.
• Develop a broad knowledge of the data methodology and systems.

Requirements:

• Degree or equivalent with experience in a operations Reporting / Analysis environment.
• Previous experience with database use, database platforms and analyzing large datasets
• Knowledgeable and experience in building dashboards using BI tools
• Knowledgeable and experience in creating visualization using Power BI.
• Strong background in statistics, differential equations and/or numerical methods
• Strong communication skills – verbal, written and presentation
• Ability to work under pressure and to exacting time scales on occasion
• Self-motivated, dynamic (able to respond to changing priorities) and able to work with minimal supervision (commitment to deliver to agreed timescales).
