STEMpedia is hiring for the role of Business Analyst Intern!
Responsibilities of the Intern:
- Collect, clean, and analyze data from various sources to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Research industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer preferences to provide insights that inform strategic decisions.
- Create informative reports and dashboards to communicate key performance indicators and business metrics to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and document business requirements for new projects and initiatives.
- Identify process bottlenecks and inefficiencies and propose solutions to streamline operations.
- Work closely with teams such as product development, marketing, and sales to understand their needs and support their goals.
- Provide data-driven recommendations to guide decision-making, improve product offerings, and enhance customer experiences.
Requirements:
- Education: Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Analytics, or a related field. Current enrollment in an accredited university program is required.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, or similar tools is a plus.
- Team Player: Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Curiosity: A passion for learning and staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving work environment.
- Problem Solver: Proactive and creative problem-solving skills to identify and address business challenges.
- Passion for STEM: An interest in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education is a plus but not mandatory.
