Business Analyst (Installation Engineer) Job in Gurgaon at Genpact

Genpact is hiring for the role of Business Analyst (Installation Engineer)!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Networking Experience (Routing/VPN connectivity/Tunneling/Firewall).
• Checking the Pre-requests for site Readiness before FSE reaches the site.
• Guiding FSE on pre-installation, and EHL Hardware installation procedure.
• Supporting for installing & configuring the server.
• Supporting for installing & configuring the 2P/3P applications based on the subscription package of the customer.
• Ensuring server is connected to back office via Insite-RSVP or on the open internet and providing connectivity troubleshooting remote support if required.
• Supporting technical escalations across all regions for the EHL server, diagnosing hardware/software issues, network issues, Kubernetes pod level issues, etc. and escalating to the next level of support post-preliminary assessment.
• Updating & maintaining the day-to-day installation activities & development in the installation tracker.
• Monitoring Planned Maintenance schedules and EHL certificate expiration.

Requirements:

• B.Tech/B. E in Computer Science/Information Technology/Electronics and Telecommunication or Mechanical
• BCA/MCA, B. sc/M.sc IT (Information Technology)
• Linux Basics (Users, file navigation, vi editor, mounting iso, etc.)
• Kubernetes knowledge
• Excellent communication in English, in both written and oral forms
• Experience working with diverse stakeholders in a multi-vendor environment (Beneficial).
• Basic knowledge of Excel and Word (Preferred intermediate)
• Good understanding of networks and generic terminologies.
• Experience in a Technical Support process (Enterprise or consumer)
• Experience with troubleshooting and diagnosing problems in a remote infrastructure support environment
• Knowledge of Networking concepts
• Excellent communication skills in English and ability to work with calmness under stress
• Ability to coordinate with different stakeholders efficiently
• Preferred:
  • Extensive knowledge of Networking Solutions Datacenter and Edge
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical issues, prioritize them and enjoy working with customers
  • Strong customer orientation, excellent phone etiquette and work ethic
