Business Analyst II Job in Gurgaon at American Express

American Express is hiring for the job role of Business Analyst II!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Planning and forecasting of Headcount – review & track capacity.
• Reviewing P&L and report opex variances - actual vs. budget/forecast and with prior year.
• Preparation of monthly financial results including managing accruals etc.
• Identify and report risks and opportunities to the budget/forecast.
• Managing effective resolution of queries arising out of the month-end and budget/forecasting processes.
• Working proactively to collate input ensuring accuracy, completeness, and meeting tight deadlines.
• Willing to learn about the different GSG functions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in business/ finance or related field with 3-5 years of work experience.
• Knowledge of financial systems – TM1 / GSNASO and Oracle is highly desired.
• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint). Knowledge of Macros is a plus.
• Self-motivated with a demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple priorities.
• Strong relationship management and communication skills.
• Strong work ethic and interpersonal skills.
• Focus on data management, reporting, and consolidation skills is required. Technical finance knowledge is not a constraint for applicants who have a strong background in data analysis and reporting.
• Day shift (12:30 – 9:00 pm).
• This is a Hybrid Role and may be subject to additional background checks.
