Business Analyst - Ground Transport Internship in Bangalore at MakeMyTrip (MMT)

MakeMyTrip is hiring for the role of Business Analyst - Ground Transport!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Track key business/ customer metrics daily yourself and enable the team to do so by preparing daily reports and automated dashboards in Redash. For instance, shopper, product conversion, user retention, repeat rate, NPS, contact ratio, etc.
• Create rich interactive data visualization through data interpretation & integrating various data sources
• Automate reports to be sent to email distribution lists at a certain frequency
• Analyze data using statistical methods to derive emerging customer or business trends/patterns, thus identifying areas for improvement in efficiency and productivity
• Own up to the integrity of operational reports and take needful actions to fix emerging issues in representation or data
• Act upon the areas of improvement or key insights derived, designing and implementing experiments – tweaking business levers –and tracking impact
• Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
• Generate meaningful insights from data and build hypotheses to share with product managers - For instance, can understand and go deeper into why a certain metric is behaving a certain way.
• Interact with stakeholders (product and business) and can understand the problems and translate them into requirements

Requirements:

• B. Tech from a reputed institute with 2 to 5 years of experience in data analytics (SQL & Advanced Excel), analyzing data trends, and reporting
• Knowledge of Advanced SQL queries and Advanced Excel is a must
• Exposure to Google Analytics / Adobe Omniture
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
• Familiarity with BI technologies
• Adept at queries, report writing, and presenting findings
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively drive complex projects within as well as outside the team.
• Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (SPSS, SAS, R, Python, etc) is preferred
