Avaloq is hiring for the role of Business Analyst!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Service Accountability: Ensure the service meets market demands, is scalable, well-documented, and maintains high quality.
• Roadmap and Backlog Management: Shape the service roadmap and prioritize the service backlog in collaboration with product managers, software architects, and fellow business analysts.
• Documentation: Provide comprehensive service documentation that complements product documentation, including flexibility and customization options.
• Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of quality in the respective service area.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the counterpart for the business development team, clients, prospects, and product owners, addressing questions, gathering market fit feedback, and conducting presentations/workshops.
• Sales Support: Support the sales engagement process with subject matter expertise and digest client feedback to improve the service.
• Technical Support: Provide technical support for customer projects and maintain existing functionality.
• Agile Environment: Work in an Agile environment, constantly improving processes and introducing new technologies.
• Interdisciplinary Projects: Collaborate on interdisciplinary innovation projects to drive the definition and extension of Avaloq’s standard product configuration.

Requirements:

• An experience of 2 to 6 years as a BA or a similar role within the financial services industry.
• University or technical college degree in IT, engineering, or banking/finance/economics
• Banking Know-how, ideally in the areas of Collateral Management, Securities Settlement and Reconciliation
• Good knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL
• Open minded, team oriented and communicative
• Able to work independently and with guidance in more complex situations
• Strong written and spoken English language skills
