Glance is hiring for the role of Lead - Business Analyst!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Analyze large datasets from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights. Design and produce regular reports and dashboards for business stakeholders to inform strategic decisions.
• Utilize advanced statistical methods, machine learning models, and data mining techniques to solve complex business challenges and provide actionable insights to drive performance.
• Create and maintain visually engaging dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar, enabling stakeholders to easily interpret and act on data findings.
• Identify areas for process improvement through data analysis. Recommend and implement optimizations to improve efficiency, accuracy, and overall data management.
• Work closely with business leaders, product teams, marketing, finance, and IT to understand business needs and ensure that data solutions align with organizational goals.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across systems. Lead efforts to maintain data quality standards, including cleaning and validating data to ensure reliable analysis.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior data analysts, assisting with data analysis techniques, report development, and troubleshooting complex issues.
•  Lead initiatives to provide deeper insights into business operations, customer behavior, and market trends, contributing to the company’s long-term strategic planning.
• Support ad-hoc analysis requests from various departments, providing quick, high-quality data insights to solve immediate business problems

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field. Master’s degree or relevant certifications is a plus.
• Experience: 3+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar role, with a demonstrated ability to apply data analysis to real-world business problems.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases.
• Expertise in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Superset, etc.).
• Advanced skills in Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and macros.
• Experience with statistical analysis and machine learning tools (e.g., Python, R, or similar programming languages).
• Analytical Skill: Strong quantitative skills and a deep understanding of statistical techniques and data modeling.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to translate complex data findings into clear, concise insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to approach complex data challenges with innovative solutions and actionable recommendations.
