Photon Infotech is hiring for the role of Business Analyst!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and meetings to gather and prioritize requirements, and facilitate consensus among stakeholders.
• Perform business process analysis and modelling to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
• Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications for development teams.
• Work closely with project managers, architects, developers, and QA engineers to ensure that solutions meet business needs and quality standards.
• Develop and maintain project documentation, including business requirements documents, use cases, process flows, and user manuals.
• Support the testing, validation, and user acceptance of software solutions, and coordinate with stakeholders to address feedback and issues.
• Monitor project progress and communicate status updates, risks, and issues to stakeholders and project teams.
• Participate in post-implementation reviews and retrospectives to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business processes and requirements
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
• Proven ability to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements using various techniques such as interviews, workshops, and surveys
• Experience with business process modelling tools and techniques such as BPMN or UML
• Familiarity with software development methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
• Knowledge of project management tools such as Jira or Trello is a plus
• Relevant certifications such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or PMI-PBA (Professional in Business Analysis) are desirable but not required
