Alliance Bernstein is hiring for the role of Business Analyst!

About this role:

The person in this role will have an opportunity to strengthen project and relationship management skills while working with varying levels of AB staff. This person will be exposed to all areas of AB’s Europe, Middle East, Asia, and Africa product data. The person successfully performing this role will have various career path opportunities including positions with more technical responsibility or more management experience including people/process or project management.

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Review of pricing and performance data on AB’s Europe, Middle East, Asia, and Africa websites
• Remediating issues where data is missing from a variety of applications
• Actioning changes related to products, which includes coordinating with an external vendor for translation of the changes
• Quality control of all requested changes to products
• Responses to internal and external client queries
• Regular data file generation, review, and quality checks
• Coordination and dissemination of performance documents
• Other responsibilities that may be assigned to the person based on skill and capacity to support

Requirements:

• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and a propensity to quickly learn new applications, processes, and areas of business
• SQL, and Python skills are a plus
• Salesforce skills are a plus
• As there is a desire to maintain a high level of stewardship over the data that is under the care of the team, attention to detail is a must
• Intellectual curiosity
• Ability to communicate at all levels with clarity, poise, maturity, and precision both written and verbal
• Client-focused and results-oriented, diligent, and works with a sense of urgency. Assertive, responsible for his/her work (self-directed), has a strong affinity for defining work in 
• Experience in asset management or other capital markets industries is an advantage
• Experience working with data management (processes, approvals, etc.) advantageous
• Understanding of European and Asia regulations is a plus
• Must have strong relationship/customer management experience
• Proven analytical abilities
