Business Affairs Counsel Job in Bangalore at Hitachi

• Ensuring legal advice on contractual legal matters, and interacting with the company’s business functions.
• Ensuring legal advice on business support activities (e.g. tendering processes, procurement contracts).
• Ensuring the interface with external legal advisor (e.g. on specific contractual and legal matters.
• Ensuring the implementation of all the actions required for the legal support of the Intellectual property of the Company (e.g. IP protection, optimization, etc.)
• Ensuring the identification and implementation of all the actions required by the Insurance Counsel policies in order to fulfill all claims requirements.
• Ensuring Insurance Counsel cost estimation for bid proposal.
• Ensuring legal advice on business transaction proceedings involving or affecting the Company e.g.: ‒ Litigation (including the interaction with external advisors in order to supervise the implementation of the required legal strategy) ‒ Arbitration ‒ Mediation ‒ Generic settlement Ensure the monitoring and updating of all types of a legal proceeding involving or affecting the STS’ Group.

Requirements:

• Required Skills/Knowledge: Tender/contracts review, contract drafting, dispute resolution/arbitration/litigation, and interacting with the company’s business functions.
• Key qualifications Preferred: Bachelor in Law, exposure in Corporate law will be an added advantage.
