Koch is hiring for the role of Building Automation Engineer!

Responsibilities:

• System Design and Implementation:
• Design & Develop: Work on designing building automation systems, including HVAC, lighting, and security systems.
• Engineering Drawings: Prepare detailed engineering drawings and specifications.
• Component Selection: Choose appropriate hardware and software for system integration.
• Installation & Commissioning: Oversee the installation and ensure proper functioning of building systems.
• Network Coordination: Coordinate with IT teams to address LAN and wireless network issues.
• Project Management:
• Collaborate: Work with project managers to develop project plans and timelines.
• Coordinate: Liaise with contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders.
• Monitor: Track project progress and make adjustments to meet deadlines and budget constraints.
• Technical Support and Maintenance

Requirements:

• Proficiency in building automation software and tools (e.g., BACnet, JCI, Schneider Electric, Honeywell).
• Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Project management skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Understanding of Windows Client/Server operating systems.
• Knowledge of networking concepts and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
