Bugs & Outages Analyst II Job in Hyderabad at Uber

Uber is hiring for the role of Bugs & Outages Analyst II!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Triage and call out reported bugs to the Engineering
• Attempt to reproduce the issue, use key diagnostic dashboards and specific troubleshooting steps including run books to resolve the validity of reports
• Identify team ownership and involve the accurate engineering resource
• Build responses and support instructions for all our support agents globally
• Identify and provide workarounds when applicable to minimize customer impact of live bugs/outages
• Apply deflection methods to improve customer experience during an outage
• Provide regular tracking and reporting of all bugs and outages that impact support metrics
• Process improvements for bug and outage reporting as the needs of the organization and the team evolve
• Maintain and continue to build our library of resources used while supporting outages
• Receive pages for all crises that could potentially impact our users
• Settle potential user impact of a crisis

Requirements:

• End-to-end ownership of getting bugs resolved on a timely basis
• A proven understanding of Uber's Internal Tools will be an added advantage
• Problem-solving mindset
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with incident response and resolution processes
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
