Axis Bank is hiring for the role of Branch Operations Head!

Responsibilities of Candidate:

  • Establish local branch operational procedures incorporating necessary control processes to ensure adherence to global and regional policies, standards and practices.
  • Establish and define the branch operations policies and procedures, operating efficiency model, interfaces with the Country Retail Bank Head and other stakeholders on solving operating issues and all other operational aspects of the branches.
  • Ensuring seamless customer service delivery at branches through continuous evaluation of redundant process, removal of bottle necks and process simplification and standardization.
  • Own & manage analog shutdown and path to zero initiatives for Branch Operations to meet transaction offload targets, in partnership with Country Operations and Product & Digital partners.
  • Lead & champion Client Obsession initiatives and to drive y-o-y reduction of L1, L2 & L3 complaints volume and resolving identified client pain points.
  • Ensuring best in class on boarding process for customer on boarded by Affluent Branch team through reduced turnaround time and rejects across products.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards
  • Work closely with other functions such as CBORC, BOF, Product, Information Security, CBCM, Fraud Prevention & Oversight, Records Management, CSIS and CRS to meet the above objectives.

Requirements:

  • CA / CFA / Business Management or other relevant Post Graduate degree
  • AMFI and IRDA certification
  • Knowledge of banking products and services
  • Ability to manage complex client situations
  • Good communication (both verbal and written) skill in both English and the local language
  • Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
  • Good networking and relationship building skills
