Key Responsibilities

Credit Appraisal & Evaluation

• Assess loan proposals received from the branch for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with policy guidelines.
• Conduct detailed financial analysis, risk assessment, and due diligence of borrowers.
• Verify documents and ensure KYC compliance.

Decision Making

• Approve or recommend credit proposals within delegated authority limits.
• Suggest modifications or additional requirements for borderline cases.

Portfolio Monitoring

• Monitor branch loan portfolio to maintain healthy asset quality.
• Identify early warning signals and take preventive action.

Coordination & Support

• Work closely with the branch sales team to ensure smooth loan processing.
• Provide guidance to branch staff on credit policies and documentation.

Compliance & Reporting

• Ensure adherence to internal credit policies, RBI guidelines, and regulatory norms.
• Prepare and submit periodic credit reports and MIS to higher management.
