Bluetooth Protocol Engineer Job in Hyderabad at Qualcomm

Qualcomm is hiring for the role of Bluetooth Protocol Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• The person will support customers to integrate Bluetooth products into their Snapdragon based products and support the design phase to the mass production.
• This person will help customers solve any issues found on all layers including Bluetooth SoC chip firmware, driver, BlueDroid stack, Android framework, and Bluetooth applications. In addition, this person will provide training to customers, review customer customization design and implementation, and support the marketing and sales teams to win designs
• This person will work closely with the worldwide development engineering team, the customer program managers, and the application engineering team. 
• This person can learn and master new Bluetooth technology and QC software implementations very quickly.
• Travels to customer sites and other regional QC offices are needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of BT/BLE technology, Bluetooth protocol, and stack is desired
• Prior experience in BT/BLE host/controller development is highly desired
• Proficient in coding with C and C++
• The candidate should be good at BT/BLE, and able to triage the customer-reported issues in this area.
• Experience in Bluetooth SoC firmware development is a plus
• Strong understanding and work experience with Android audio is a plus
• Knowledge of HFP, A2DP, AVRCP, OBEX, PAN, HID, BLE, and COEX is a plus
• Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills with a focus on system-level debugging with JTAG Trace 32
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills are preferred
• Experience with Linux device driver is a plus
• Knowledge of multithreading and synchronization in a driver environment.
• Experience with ARM processors and assembly programming is a plus
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills are preferred
• Prior experience with Android/Windows Mobile is a plus
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly; Self-motivated and work alone with high pressure from customers.
• Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 2  years of relevant work experience
