Mastercard is hiring for the role of BizOps Engineer I!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Design, build, implement, and support technology services
• Analyze ITSM activities and provide feedback to development teams
• Support services before and after they go live
• Scale systems sustainably and evolve systems for improved reliability and velocity
• Support the application CI/CD pipeline
• Practice sustainable incident response and blameless postmortems
• Work with a global team and share knowledge
• Mentor junior resources

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field involving coding
• Experience with algorithms, data structures, scripting, pipeline management, and software design
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to debug and optimize code and automate routine tasks
• Experience dealing with difficult situations and making decisions with a sense of urgency
• Experience with one or more of the following programming languages: C, C++, Java, Python, Go, Perl, or Ruby
• Interest in designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems
• Experience working across development, operations, and product teams
• Experience with industry standard CI/CD tools
• Experience designing and implementing an effective and efficient CI/CD flow
