Capgemini is hiring for the role of BIW Consultant!

Responsibilities:

• Assisting Team lead/Senior engineer in planning and executing the team goals/tasks.
• Adept at using problem-solving techniques, to resolve validation/assembly/manufacturing & interpersonal issues.
• Perform technical feasibility checks concerning material, manufacturing, packaging & product design aspects. 

Requirements:

• Approx.3+ years of BIW/Closure relevant experience
• Good experience Using CAD tools - UG NX CAD software(Added advantage) or Catia V5 - part design, surfacing, assembly, and drafting. Experience in the development of BIW concepts and component designs.
• Sound knowledge of product design & development of BIW parts/assemblies.
• Sound knowledge of FMVSS & ECE standards.
• Excellent understanding of Drawings, GD & T, and BOM preparation.
• Should have qualities like taking ownership to plan & execute the tasks successfully
• Good knowledge of PLM.
• Work closely with the team lead to develop each applicable component/sub-system to meet all mass, cost, and performance targets.
• Should possess good written and verbal communication skills
• Adapt to using problem-solving techniques, to resolve validation/assembly/manufacturing & interpersonal issues.
