Billing / Planning Engineer Job in Surat at Shree Ganesh Corporation

Shree Ganesh Corporation is hiring for the role of Billing/Planning Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Prepare measurement sheets from onsite data and drawings
• Prepare bills of quantities and bills with rates from the Tender
• Get the bills certified by the client
• Prepare and process subcontractor bills
• Enter and analyze data in ERP Software or SAP
• Check bills raised by the contractor, including on-site verification of measurement and verification of rates with Tender
• Take measurements from the site engineer
• Process the measurements as per the company's protocol
• Follow up with the accounts department for payment
• Review bills of quantities and item lists
• Conduct value engineering to achieve functionality, safety, speed of execution, and quality at lower costs by evaluating different options
• Check and certify bills and invoices from vendors and contractors
• Supervise construction of civil interior works at the site, including safety, quality, and schedule
• Analyze variation claims by contractors/vendors and close the same
• Administer and enforce contracts at the site
• Coordinate with the team to ensure smooth execution and handover of detailed information
• Prepare preliminary estimates at the proposal stages
• Prepare detailed bills of quantities/pre-tender estimates
• Compile Tender Documents based on project requirements
• Pre-qualify vendors
• Prepare detailed comparative statements
• Inspect and verify work measurements
• Process invoices as per terms and contracts
• Conduct rate analysis, bill estimation, and costing
• Prepare bills of quantities (BOQ) and certifications
• Support the PM in billing and generating cost-related reports and documentation
• Estimate quantities
• Prepare block estimates
• Monitor the cost of major items daily
• Prepare material reconciliation reports from the store
• Follow up with the billing person for timely submission of the RA Bill
• Prepare and submit client bills as per the BOQ
• Prepare summaries, abstracts, and billing advice
• Coordinate with contractors and site engineers for joint site measurement verification
• Maintain all records of billing work
• Utilize MS Excel, MS Word, and AutoCAD proficiently
• Leverage experience in ERP Software
• Follow the mode of measurement as per IS Codes

Requirements:

• Minimum 1- 5 years of experience.
• Minimum B.E. or Equivalent / M.Tech preferred.
• Knowledge of Primavera, MS Project is a must.
• A clear understanding of the purpose of the documentation they are preparing.
• Good English communication skills and interpersonal skills.
