Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Managing the end-to-end bid process
• Creating and overseeing a bid - a detailed, costed, persuasive proposal - on behalf of one organization to gain a business contract
• Researching, writing, and/or checking proposals
• Negotiating with specialist suppliers and/or subcontractors
• Working with the sales lead to develop a clear win strategy for each bid and ensure win themes are clear and compelling

Only those candidates can apply who:

• are available for full time (in-office) internship
• are available for duration of 6 months
• have relevant skills and interests

Other requirements:

• Relevant qualification/training in English literature or English language (as good written communication skills are essential)
• Knowledge/training in business or management subjects (as commercial awareness and knowledge of business principles is important for the role)
• Knowledge/training in subjects related to the sector the role is in (so, for example, a construction management, engineering or quantity surveying degree for construction, infrastructure or transport employers; electronic engineering, software engineering or computer science degree for technology companies; or a property degree for property management companies)
