Visibility is hiring for the role of BI Developer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Developing and maintaining our current Business Intelligence software using Sql Server tools.
• Developing and maintaining our suite of SSRS dashboards and reports and expanding Power BI dashboards and reports. 
• Conversion of data from other ERP systems or our legacy system into our latest system. Being involved in the process from start to finish with testing.
• Developing and maintaining reports within the ERP system using our SQL based report writing software (training will be given).
• Creating and maintaining documentation.
• Liaising with customers on custom based development requirements.
• With the focus on data conversions from other ERP systems or our legacy system, SQL report writing and developing and maintaining our Business Intelligence software.

Requirements:

• Business Intelligence (Sql Server)
• Knowledge of SSIS, SSRS, SSAS using Sql Server 2008 R2 to Sql Server 2019, creating BI solutions from data warehouse to OLAP cube development.
• Microsoft Power BI Experience
• Knowledge of creating both multi-dimensional and tabular OLAP cubes.
• The ability to present and train customers in using the OLAP cubes using Excel.
• Experience in developing reports and dashboards using Sql Server Reporting Services.
• Knowledge of MDX and/or DAX scripting beneficial
• Experience of creating reports using SQL (both Sql Server and Oracle)
• Knowledge of database maintenance and creation, beneficial but not essential
• Knowledge of database schema, ETL using Sql Server, database connections including Oracle.
• Knowledge of creating reports, drilldowns, hyperlinks using Sql Server Reporting Services
• Good knowledge of creating code with common practices/adhering to procedures
• Experience of manufacturing beneficial
• Experience working with PowerBI,Tableau,QLik beneficial
• The candidate must have strong communication skills, a methodical approach to problem-solving and knowledge sharing with the wider team
• This is an in office position 4 days/week with 1 remote day.
