THOUCENTRIC is hiring for the role of BI Consultant!

Responsibilities of the candidate:

• Assist in the design, development, and deployment of interactive dashboards and reports using BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, QuickSight, Looker).
• Work closely with senior BI consultants to gather requirements and transform raw data into meaningful visualizations and insights.
• Support data preparation and cleansing tasks using SQL, Python, or other data manipulation tools.
• Contribute to the optimization of BI solutions and ensure high performance and scalability of reports and dashboards.
• Assist in the integration of various data sources, including data warehouses, data lakes, and external data sources.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide data-driven solutions.
• Contribute to documentation and user training on BI solutions.
• Participate in the enhancement and maintenance of the BI environment.

Requirements of the candidate:

• Knowledge of at least one standard BI tool (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, QuickSight, Looker).
• Demonstrated capability of creating engaging dashboards for real-world business problems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with SQL for querying and manipulating data.
• Proficiency in Python for data analysis, automation, reporting tasks using Pandas or other libraries.
• Knowledge of at least one data visualization library in Python
• Ability to work with large datasets and perform data transformations.
• Understanding of data warehouse and data lake architectures.
• Good communication skills with the ability to present data insights in a clear and concise manner.
• Confidence in handling data, performing analysis, and troubleshooting issues.
• Enthusiasm for learning new technologies and techniques in the BI space, including leveraging LLMs for data insights.
• Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master’s degree program in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Prior internship or project experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field is a plus.
