Mercedes Benz is hiring for the role of BEMI Planner Small equipment planning!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Develop cost reduction initiatives while creating equipment concepts
• Assist in equipment concept design
• Write Equipment specification
• Order of the equipment after Technical evaluation   followed by ‘Design approval and Buy-off’
• Assist in concept validation, technical offer evaluation
• Tryout and commissioning of Equipment as per Project Timelines and ensuring the conformance to Planned Manufacturing Concepts and Layout
• Assist in digitalization of equipment standards in 3D

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering
• Experience in the Manufacturing Engineering domain from the Automotive Car industry with a very good understanding of project management of tools & equipment
• Language skills: Very good knowledge of English, spoken and written. Proficiency in German is an added advantage.
• Technical background in Equipment Planning and Assembly Planning.
• Good hands-on Experience and exposure to Equipment Planning processes and Problem resolution.
• Software and System know-how (e.g. NX / Vismockup / Team center visualization etc.)
• Research-oriented approach and idea-generation skills to encounter problems
