Battery Design Engineer Job at Ather Energy

Ather Energy is hiring for the role of Battery Design Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Use root cause analysis methods such as the Pareto chart, Ishikawa, 5 why, and FMEA to identify the source of problems and propose intermittent and long-term corrective actions
• Interact with the quality, process, and production teams to identify and solve design, assembly, and field bugs
• Develop, sustain, and exploit data pipeline to monitor and preempt bugs and their status continuously
• Build Dashboards using Superset/Tableau/Data studio
• Responsible for improving quality of all parts in our current generation of Battery packs
• Liaise closely with internal and external stakeholders to meet Design Release, Testing and Production milestones
• Would be responsible for the entire lifecycle of the component starting from Proto to Production and Sustenance.

Requirements:

• B.Tech/B.E/M.Tech/M.E. or equivalent with Specialization in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Electrical/Electronics Engineering
• 2-5 years of relevant experience in Li-Ion Battery Design and Development
• Basic knowledge of any one major CAD and PLM software like NX, Solidworks, Catia, Teamcenter, Autodesk Fusion
• Knowledge of Battery Cyclers, Grafana, and Superset is looked upon favorably
• Knowledge of Battery manufacturing process.
