Deloitte is hiring for the role of Banking & Fintech Strategy Consultant!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Drive large-scale engagements across Business Strategy & Transformation, Digital Transformation, Customer Experience Optimization, and Product Innovation in MSME, Corporate Banking, Retail Lending, Microfinance, and Fintech collaboration domains.
• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex consulting projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely execution and high-quality outcomes.
• Work closely with key client stakeholders including CXOs, business heads, and operations teams to design and deliver transformation initiatives.
• Develop POVs (Points of View) on emerging trends in the Indian Financial Services ecosystem and evolving technology landscape.
• Lead business development efforts including RFPs, proposals, pitch decks, and thought leadership content.
• Collaborate across internal and external teams to execute client assignments efficiently.
• Drive adoption of new technologies (e.g., digital LOS, workflow automation, customer experience platforms).
• Utilize strong problem-solving skills to address complex issues in change and transformation projects.
• Use MS Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio) to prepare documentation, presentations, business models, and transformation roadmaps.
• Mentor, guide, and manage cross-functional team members to ensure delivery excellence.
• Communicate effectively through presentations, reports, documents, and stakeholder discussions.
• Maintain strong understanding of the Indian Financial Services ecosystem, including Banks, NBFCs, MSME lending, and Corporate Banking.

Requirements:

• Proven track record working in domains such as digital transformation, business strategy, customer experience, and product innovation.
• Experience in managing end-to-end large consulting engagements and leading diverse teams.
• Strong understanding of FS technology platforms such as loan origination systems, digital lending platforms, and CX solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and strategic communication skills.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including working with senior leadership and CXOs.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite — Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio.
• Ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and operate as a self-starter.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
• Ability to develop thought leadership, client POVs, and market insights.
