TripGain is hiring for the role of Backend Python Developer!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Write clean, efficient Python code to automate web-based tasks, including screenscraping and data extraction.
- Collaborate with our AI team to integrate LLM-powered features into real-world workflows.
- Build REST APIs that support our AI-powered travel assistant.
- Maintain lightweight backend services and micro-tools for automation.
- Work with tools like Playwright, BeautifulSoup, and LangChain (or similar frameworks).
- Assist in prototyping and testing contextual chatbots or LLM-driven tools.
- Contribute to data cleaning, transformation, and enrichment pipelines.
Requirements:
- 1–3 years of Python development experience, ideally in scripting, backend, or automation roles.
- Experience building automation scripts using tools like Playwright, Selenium, or requests + BeautifulSoup.
- Exposure to LLMs (OpenAI, HuggingFace, etc.) through personal or professional projects.
- Understanding of how APIs work (REST/JSON) and experience working with them.
- Familiarity with data processing using Pandas or NumPy.
- Comfortable using Git and basic Linux commands.
- Bonus: Experience with chatbot frameworks, LangChain, or similar tools.
