Backend Engineer Job in Mumbai at Bitkraft Technologies LLP

Bitkraft Technologies is looking for an experienced Backend Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for the database and server side development.

Skills Required

Databases (At Least 1 of the below)

• MySQL
• Oracle
• Postgresql
• MongoDB
• with hands-on skills writing procedures, triggers and experience with automation/ETL pipelines

Programming Languages (At Least 1 of the below)

• PHP - Yii2/CodeIgnitor or equivalent framework
• NodeJs - Express Middleware
• Python - Django/Flask, experience with Pandas

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the project lifecycle, understanding client requirements, coding and debugging
• Write clean code to develop functional web applications
• Troubleshoot and debug applications
• Perform tests to optimize performance of code written
• Usage of cutting-edge technologies to create web applications
• Collaborate with Front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server side logic
• Provide training and support to internal teams and client teams
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• Follow emerging technologies and share ideas

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a Back-end developer
• Excellent Database design and query building skills; Highly experienced in working with In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment)
• Ready to try new technologies, platforms and frameworks as required on future projects
• In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment); experience with automation and Continuous Integration DevOps would be preferred
• Experience in working in Agile projects - with familiarity with tools such Jira
• An ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment and proactive communication with team members and client
• Teamwork skills with a problem-solving attitude
• Outstanding communication skills (oral and written)
• Strong work ethic and commitment to meet deadlines and support team members meet goals
• Be flexible with working across timezones with overseas customers if required
