BA3 Software Engineer - Full Stack Internship in Pune at Barclays

Barclays is hiring for the role of BA3 Software Engineer - Full Stack! 

Responsibilities of the Candidate: 

• Participate in requirements gathering and analysis activities and assess the application from a test automation perspective.
• Understanding functionality related to a given module.
• Develop and execute formal test plans within schedule and budget constraints.
• Develop test specifications based on various requirement documents within schedule constraints
• Document defects & track till closure.
• Create & execute complex test ware - estimates, scenarios, cases, data.
• Develop test bed and verify test environments.
• Set up necessary monitoring / profiling tools to identify and isolate performance bottlenecks
• Perform functional and technical test execution activities (automated tests, where applicable) as per engagement level in the project.
• Assist the Test lead/ manager in managing the testing day-to-day.
• Build a knowledge repository on best practices for using specific test tools.
• Uses utilities and tools to support testing.
• Create and maintain the required MI for the project/ module, and update Agile Central.
• Sharing of reusable components to test engineering colleagues and other test teams.
• Deliver test automation improvement initiatives within the project group.
• Conform to established best practices and any appropriate test automation standards.
• Provide guidance to other team members on technology/domain/application queries.

Requirements:

• Expert in creating testing scenarios and batch-testing data.
• Basic knowledge of Oracle SQL.
• Educational Qualification: BE (CS or any relevant stream)
• Well-versed with test fundamentals and test processes.
• Working knowledge of Functional & API testing.
• Hands-on experience in UI, ETL, and API test automation.
• Should have exposure to framework creation and working experience of karate framework.
• Knowledge of JAVA, Gradle, Maven, extent reporting, BDD, Cucumber, Jenkin, GIT, Team City.
• Knowledge of JIRA tracking tools.

• Strong technical background with detail-driven and excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Good product and testing acumen.
• Proven track record for agile, test-driven development, behaviour-driven development, continuous integration, and automated testing.
